First of all, sorry for the radio silence in the last year… second – thank you for still checking my page for updates and “old” photos!
2016 started a bit rough for me, don’t want to go into any details, but I completely lost myself. I moved, didn’t have the chance to shoot any gigs, I then moved again, got a job… and still couldn’t shoot gigs because of work schedule. I kinda lost myself in a vicious circle of life, and I slowed down and totaly rebuilt myself. If you follow me on Instagram, you would already know that (so go and follow me @anjaimusicphoto).
In November my life changed again. And one month later, today, it changed again. And for a control freak person like me, changes are really stresfull, even if they are for the better.
But I did something kinda creative this last months… I can’t stand big empty white walls around me. So when I moved to my new place there were empty walls around me and the place didn’t feel right. It wasn’t mine, it wasn’t home. So I did a little DIY project and you can see the making of it here:
So yeah, 2017 will be something totaly new. Starting in January I am taking a road trip and spending few days in Zagreb – if you have any suggestions of where to go please let me know (food, drinks, interesting photography spots…), I am planning to finish my MSc thesis (this time for real), in February I am starting a new job,… and many more in the upcoming months.
Hopefully this time I’ll be able to at least shoot a gig or two per month, because I really miss it – I do need to start working with bands directly and their labels, since I am now completely on my own and freelancing this. But time off was much needed. I totaly rebuilt my ‘what I want to do in future’ list and added lots of road trip/travel videos to it.
Here is to new beginnings, I salute to 2016 and say goodbye! May the 2017 be filled with joy and excitement!
